THE VISION
Commissioned by PublicisLive, we collaborated with Superbien to design and execute a monumental immersive mapping show for the official reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral. After five years of restoration, the goal was to create a visual narrative that honored both the architectural heritage of the monument and the artisans behind its rebirth, under the direction of Jérôme Revon.
THE EXPERTISE
Managing a project of such historical and diplomatic significance required absolute precision in both creative storytelling and technical execution.
Architectural Respect: Developing a visual language that enhanced the cathedral's facade without distorting its sacred geometry.
Large-Scale Broadcast: Engineering a show designed for dual impact—providing an emotional experience for the thousands on-site while ensuring perfect legibility for a global live television broadcast.
High-Stakes Execution: Delivering a flawless performance for a global audience, including 40 heads of state and 1,600 international dignitaries.
THE IMPACT
A global cultural milestone. Broadcast live in 120 countries, the ceremony drew record-breaking viewership, including 8 million viewers in France alone. This project stands as a definitive example of how digital artistry can elevate a moment of profound national and international emotion.
